NHS County Durham and Darlington work with the public to encourage local people to get involved and give their views on health services in their area. There are a variety of ways in which you can influence the way we plan, develop and deliver our services across County Durham and Darlington.

Primary Care Trusts have a statutory duty to report once a year on all consultations that have been undertaken, are underway or are planned, which will have an impact on commissioning decisions.  This must be completed within six months of the end of the financial year.

This report for 2010/11 outlines those consultations that have been undertaken, or are planned,  by NHS County Durham and Darlington with relevant stakeholders in relation to commissioning health and healthcare on behalf of the population of County Durham and Darlington.
